Multilingual Farmer Advisory Chatbot using Retrieval-Augmented Generation

Rural-advisory RAG: KVK-style PDFs, bilingual chat, weather tool, optional leaf photo for disease hint, and a “not medical/pesticide legal advice” safety card.

Student project kit

₹14,999/-₹8,999/-

1–4 students · 6–8 weeks guided. College title can be adapted on the counselling call.

Audience

Who it is for

Teams who want a social-impact AI project with RAG + one vision model, still runnable on a laptop.

Demo: ask in English or Telugu about a crop stage, see cited pamphlet + weather, optional leaf image label with confidence.

Branches

CSEITAI & DSAIMLECE

Team size: 1–4 students

Problem

Existing vs proposed

Extension material exists as PDFs; small farmers cannot search it. Generic bots invent pesticide doses.

Grounded Q&A over an agri corpus, language toggle, weather API tool, image classifier as a hint only, and refuse out-of-corpus chemical doses.
